The general cost of Kitchen and Bathroom remodels continues to remain in the higher percentage rate of return for homeowner investments across the greater Seattle area.
In the last year, statistics show that even a minor Kitchen remodel is almost a 90% return on investment. For a homeowner planning to sell within three to five years, the scope of a minor remodel like this might include new appliances or countertops, new flooring and/or new lighting.

LIGHTING
Good lighting is a must have in the Kitchen, and these undercabinet LED light panels offer just that! Even light on the counter, with no “hot spots”. They come with corner panels as shown, and are dim-able. By Asterisk Lighting.
ACCENT Shelving
Shelves give an opportunity to open up a wall space instead of enclosing it with a wall cabinet. This one features Maple with a Live Edge giving a rustic vibe, plus adding uniqueness in texture, no two are alike!
Ventilation
For Ventilation a couple of new things caught my eye. This microwave extension hood fits in front of an existing microwave and catches all the cooking contaminates from the front two burners on the stove, instead of escaping into the room! By MicroVisor Hood.
The second product is this slim-sized Downdraft, only 2 ½”w, that allows a cooktop plus another appliance to go below, like a slide-in range. This offers the perfect solution for small spaces, plus has four different ducting configurations. It’s a generous 18”h with three entry points to capture cooking contaminants. ACCENT Fixtures
For the Bath, this wall-hung/surface mounted 1950’s style sink is made of cement and comes in 14 colors. Great attention to details, it will definitely be a conversation piece in your home! The Herbert Basin by Nood & Co. Interiors.
